Accordion Book
Making an Accordion Book
Supplies needed:
Heavy paper, like cardstock. Can be an old folder, or heavy drawing paper. Even printer paper will work, but it will be a little flimsy.
Glue, glue stick, tape. Whatever you have that will join paper.
Scissors or craft knife
pencils, pens, colored pencils, paints, markers, glitter...for decoration! Your choice!
If you are using a manila folder, cut your paper into a rectangle. I cut it down the middle, and trimmed off the edge. If you have a nice piece of cardstock, you can skip this step.
Cut out a rectangle from card stock or an old manila folder
Fold in half long way, and then cut into 2 pieces.
Fold each strip in half and then in half again. You will have 4 sections.
Refold so that your pieces look like zig zags.
Add glue to one end of one strip, and glue it to the other strip. Let it dry under a stack of books.
Once it’s dry, you can start to draw and write your book.
